A freeze in the financial market brought investment activity to a standstill over the past two years but the recent sale of two prestigious North Central office buildings demonstrates renewed life in the investment arena. In March, Renaissance Plaza (195,562 sf), located at 70 NE Loop 410, was purchased by a local entity known as 70 NE Loop 410 Partnership Ltd. led by Bill Ellis of Concord Corporation. In April, the Union Square I & II complex (325,583 sf), located at 10100 & 10101 Reunion Place, was purchased by Union Square Office Ltd. headed by Bob Worth of R.L. Worth & Associates.
