Forever 21 fills vacant Mervyn’s space at North Star Mall

The economy hasn’t been easy for retailers but San Antonio continues to offer growth opportunities.  North Star Mall, located at 7400 San Pedro Avenue in the north central sector, recently filled the space previously occupied by now defunct Mervyn’s.  Forever 21, a value-oriented American clothing retailer, expanded out of its original 7,000 square-foot space in the mall to fill the 80,000 square-foot anchor space.   The net gain will contribute to positive net absorption in the third quarter.
