Skyonic breaks ground on $126M chemical plant on NE Side

Skyonic recently broke ground on the commercial-scale Capitol SkyMine carbon capture and mineralization facility.  The $126 million chemical plant is located at11551 Nacogdoches Road adjacent to the Capitol Aggregates cement factory in the Northeast sector and will be the first of its kind in the country.

Lauded for combining green technology and job creation, the Capitol SkyMine plant will employ about 35 workers upon completion in late 2014 and support up to 200 jobs through the plant’s construction and on-going operations.
