Texas Center for Athletes medical building sold to trust

A subsidiary of Senior Housing Property Trust (SNH) has purchased the Texas Center for Athletes medical office building in Northwest San Antonio.

The four-story, class-A structure is located at 21 Spurs Lane in the South Texas Medical Center, adjacent to the San Antonio Spurs’ training facility.

Officials with Transwestern’s Central Texas Capital Markets Group — Senior Managing Director Alan Grilliette and Executive Managing Director Russell T. Noll — represented the building’s owner, Sports SA Holdings LP, in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not divulged.

Texas Center for Athletes was constructed in 2006. The building is currently 98 percent leased, with a tenant mix that includes the surgery center, medical specialty practices, a pharmacy, a therapeutic spa and an on-site deli.
