The Oaks at University Park
Allstate Corp. is moving out of its offices in San Antonio on the North West side, the company confirmed. The Northfield, Illinois-based insurance company was leasing an undisclosed number of square feet inside The Oaks building at University Business Park along Silicon Drive for its 200-employee footprint.
Allstate expects to stop leasing offices in the building by the end of 2017. The call center’s site leader was moved to offices in Irving, according to the company. The company plans to keep leasing office space at 227 N. Loop 1604 for some employees, where it has sizable operations with sales and claims teams.
Allstate corporate footprint shrunk by 500 employees as of August since more customers are turning to its mobile app to process insurance claims.
