Plans for major Hemisfair development

Zachry Hospitality unveiled formal plans for its $200 million development called Hemisfair. The plans include a 200-room hotel spanning 14 floors, a 150,000-sf Class A office tower, and a market. All three projects have been designed as mixed-use developments that will incorporate public and retail space.  

A new $70 million facility is coming to the Medical Center

The Sam and Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies now resides at UT Health’s 186-acre Texas Research Park Campus on the far West Side. University officials said the new location across from the Greehey Academic and Research Campus will centralize operations and permit more collaboration between the institute and San Antonio’s medical community.

New Business Park Breaks Ground

Stream Realty Partners and McCombs Properties have broken ground on a 108-acre mixed-use business park along Interstate 10 and Foster Road which will combine 75 acres of industrial and warehouse space with 33 acres of retail and commercial space.

Hixon Properties and Cavender family team up for new Broadway project

Hixon Properties Inc., in partnership with the Cavender family, announced plans for the first phase of a sustainable, walkable urban neighborhood project on the site of the former Cavender Cadillac dealership on Broadway and 8th streets.

Singing Hills Retail 2 – Expected Completion March 2018

The latest inline retail addition to Singing Hills is expected to be completed by early spring of next year. Retail 2 will feature more than 23,000 SF of retail space and include tenants such as Massage Heights, Super Cuts and Marble Slab. 

Industrial park expansion announced in Comal County

Titan Industrial Park, which straddles the boarder of Schertz and Selma, has announced a new addition to the 125-acre site. Local firm Titan Development, along with Atlanta-based Robinson Weeks Partners, will be adding a fourth, 187,000-square-foot building to the park, which will be intended for multi-tenant use.

Broadway office development to cost $84.6 million

The mixed-use office and retail development will feature a 10-story South Tower, which will be approximately 221,000 square feet, and a 6-story North Tower totaling 123,000 square feet. A 10-story mixed office and retail development is set to replace the Sarma Building which previously sat at 1801 Broadway Ave.
