REOC San Antonio and NAI Houston marketing Alamo Junction Rail Park

AlamoJunctionLogoNational Property Holdings announces plans for new rail park The Eagle Ford Shale oil-and-gas play in South Texas has spurred an ever-growing list of projects for the largest metro in proximity to the formation — San Antonio. One of the latest examples of how the shale is spawning new development here is the Alamo Junction Rail Park, a new project by Houston-based National Property Holdings LP. The park will span 400 acres south of San Antonio — with easy access to the site via Interstate Highway 37, Loop 1604 and U.S. Highway 181.

Phase I of Alamo Junction calls for more than 22,000 linear feet of track. Daily rail service is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year. National Property Holdings has already sold 50 acres out of the 400-acre tract for frac-sand operations. Additional sites — ranging in size from 5 acres to 100-plus acres — are available for lease or sale, and could accommodate other rail-focused facilities.

REOC San Antonio and NAI Houston are marketing the property.  Click for property brochure.
