Fulcrum’s next retail center part of a larger mixed-use vision

craneFulcrum Development, the San Antonio-based developer behind larger mixed-use developments such as the Landmark Centre and Alon Town Centre is gearing up for the first of what could be three phases of its Culebra Commons retail center, located at the fast-growing intersection of Culebra Road and Loop 1604.

The site for that first phase spans roughly nine acres, and the entire development will include 3,000 feet of frontage along the outer loop’s western rim.

Initial retail space will provide about 54,000 square feet.

And while retail may be the first step Fulcrum takes, the developer is already playing with the possibility of incorporating professional office and hospitality components, with plans for multifamily down the line.

Construction for the first step of Culebra Commons has yet to begin, but Fulcrum is aiming for a spring 2017 delivery.

The tenant lineup is still up in the air, but will likely include about 15 high-end retail, fitness, restaurant and service provider users.
