Operating under Convent Properties, an entity he created with his wife, Henry Cisneros recently closed on the four-story historic property at 454 Soledad St.

The property, which provides more than 16,600 square feet of rentable space, already has Cisneros’ investment management and development firm CityView on the tenant roster, along with local multifamily developer 210 Development Group on the second floor, and an advertising and marketing firm on the ground floor.

And now that he’s calling the shots, Cisneros has a few decisions to make, starting with the ground up and the outside in.

Starting with some cosmetic attention to the exterior of the building, as well as some mechanical system and floor configuration updates to the interior, Cisneros said the updates will start immediately now that his name is on the deed.

While pricing details were not disclosed, Convent Properties secured a $2.4 million mortgage through Texas National Bank. According to the Bexar County Appraisal District, the property is valued at $1.19 million.
