The Kansas City, MO-based architecture, engineering and construction services firm’s new lease in the McAllister Plaza property at 9601 McAllister Freeway will also shrink the company’s footprint by about 3,000 square feet. IT currently operating from an 11,625-square-foot office at 130 E Travis St.

The company — which has a portfolio of projects like Levi Stadium, the Denver International Airport and the Dallas Horseshoe exchange — is planning to move into its new space this June after signing the lease in late 2016.

Access has long been an issue for downtown San Antonio. Potential and current tenants cite a lack of parking, an overload of tourists and a difficult-to-navigate urban core.
