The San Antonio-based company is in advanced discussions with a developer to move into a new and much larger home that would be built from the ground up to accommodate its expanded operations.
The company’s San Antonio workforce totals about 200 personnel. More than half of those employees work out of Airrosti’s current headquarters on Central Parkway North, spread out across 30,000 square feet on multiple floors.
According to Green, Airrosti has made significant progress on a plan to move the headquarters into a three-building campus on a site along U.S. Highway 281 near Hill Country Village. The plan would call for Airrosti to move into one of the structures, which would house about 40,000 square feet of office space.
Green would not disclose the name of the developer, but he did say work on the project is expected to begin in early 2018.
