The former Forest Park Medical Center located at 5510 Presidio Parkway is getting a new lease on life courtesy of Methodist Healthcare. After acquiring the real estate in 2018, Methodist recently announced plans to invest more than $50 million to redevelop the shuttered facility into Methodist Hospital-Landmark – a new community hospital that will house roughly 50 beds and emergency facilities.

Two new medical office buildings are slated for development in the Ridgewood Plaza business park in Far North Central San Antonio. Construction is slated to begin in early June and is expected to be complete by February 2023.

Construction is underway on OneFiftyOne Medical Office, a new Class A medical office building located along the Highway 151 corridor in Westover Hills.
Baptist Health System recently purchased a 23-acre site near Interstate 10 and Highway 46 in Boerne where it plans to develop a new campus that will include an acute-care hospital and medical office building.

Nearly two years after initial plans were announced that Methodist Healthcare would build a new hospital campus in the fast-growing Westover Hills area, it is anticipated that Methodist is preparing to begin construction on the 74-acre site along Highway 151.

San Antonio’s University Health System is proceeding with plans to build a 12-story tower at its main campus, located in the South Texas Medical Center.

Peripheral Vascular Associates has broken ground on a multimillion-dollar campus it will own on Huebner Road near the South Texas Medical Center, having outgrown its leased space in Northwest San Antonio. The new PVA Pavilion will span about 17,000 square feet and house multiple imaging laboratories, vascular laboratories and exam rooms.
